GCCI receives every year various delegations from abroad including Foreign Embassy Officials stationed in India which contributes significantly for promoting international business relations. Besides, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry has successfully sponsored various delegations which have proved purposive and fruitful. Thus, the Chamber has been actively promoting the objective of furthering global business relations of India.

The main objective of these business delegations around the globe is to spread knowledge and acquaintance of India trade and business relationships with each of these countries so as to promote bilateral trade and economic cooperation. The delegations were lead by the President of the Chamber which consisted of a cross-section of Gujarat industry, trade and professionals, comprising of men and women of attainment in their respective spheres.
Objectives set for the GCCI Business promotion Delegation
Investigate the possibilities of promotion of two-way trade and joint ventures.
Create awareness amongst businessmen abroad about the improvement in the investment climate in India/Gujarat, changing profile on investment scenario and emerging future opportunities.
Identify the possibilities of cooperation for technology transfer and investment in India/Gujarat particularly in the areas of sophisticated technologies.
Disseminate information on Gujarat's industrial and business capabilities, favourable investment climate, responsive government and its policies.
Establish contact and liaison with commercial organisations, chambers of commerce and businessmen and industrialists in these countries so as to facilitate expansion of bilateral economic cooperation.
