GUJARAT VEPARI MAHAMANDAL SAHAKARI AUDYOGIK VASAHAT LTD.

The Chamber under its initiative established its Industrial Estate in 1961.

The mission behind establishment of the Industrial Estate was to give momentum to the development of Small and medium industries and provide all facilities of basic infrastructure to them.

The Industrial Estate called as the Gujarat Vepari Mahamandal Industrial estate has a well laid infrastructure consisting of effluent treatment plant, roads, electricity facilities, godowns, electrical substation which would help the 250 units established there to function independently.

The first common effluent treatment plant in Gujarat was established in the Vasahat. The units established in the Industrial Estate have made investments to the tune of 200 crores and offers employment opportunities to 5000 workers.

All members of the industrial estate have been allotted a land space of 1111 sq.ft with constructed area of 60 x 40 feet. The industrial estate has units pertaining to engineering ancillaries, steel utensils, brite bars, industrial valves, submersible pumps, textiles machinery's, foundries, auto parts, transformers, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, guar gum etc.

The approximate value of production by the units in the Vasahat would be to the tune of 900 crores.
