| As the apex Chamber of the state, it is critical for the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry to take informed decisions regarding various issues related to trade and industry, as well as to provide specialized data and information to its members. In order to increase its focus and being proactive in this area, a dedicated Research Wing has been started at the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry. To provide expert guidance to this department, a new committee named the Research Advisory and Review Committee has been constituted. The main objective of the committee is to advise the research wing at Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry in its activities, provide expert guidance and inputs, and periodically review the quality of research work done. The committee which is chaired by Shri Sunil Parekh, an eminent economist and advisor to many leading corporates, will include members who are highly acclaimed experts in their respective domains. |
