GCCI's Business Women Wing Committee organized a program on the occasion of International Women's Day on 8/3/2021. The program was inaugurated by social entrepreneur Ms. Anar Patel.

In the program Shri Natubhai Patel, President, Shri Hemantbhai Shah, Senior Vice President, Shri K.I. Patel, Vice President, Shri Pathik Patwari, Hon. Secretary, Shri Sachin Patel, Hon.Treasurer and Past Chairpersons of Business Women wing committee were present and increased the enthusiasm of the women.

Ms. Shilpa Bhatt, Chairperson, BWWC in her welcome address stated that main purpose of this skill training program is to empower needy women. In this program, more than 25 needy women were taught to make Bhakti Deep. They were also given materials free of cost so that they could make it from home.

Social Entrepreneur Ms. Anar Patel in her address advised women to spare time for themselves, learn to love themselves and do activities they like. In addition, she said to give publicity of Bhakti Deep, made by women, for sale in her organization and also promote it on social media.

Mr. Natubhai Patel, President of the Chamber said in his statement that at present women are moving forward in various sectors i.e IT, Diamond, Ceramic which is highly commendable. Further he mentioned that chamber will be helpful to promote Bhakti Deep project to more and more people. Shri Pathik Patwari, Secretary, GCCI said that every day is a celebration of Women’s day. India is the only country where President, Prime Minister, Governor, CMs have been ladies and so many goddesses are worshiped in india.
