Seminar on "No Tobacco for Healthy Life & Green Environment"

GCCI organized a seminar on tobacco awareness under the leadership of Shri Apoorva Thakershy, Chairman - CSR Committee, GCCI.

The seminar featured insightful sessions by:

Dr. Vishal Choksi, Head & Neck Cancer Surgeon, who highlighted alarming statistics linking tobacco consumption to 15 types of cancer.

Mr. Ajit Vashisth, General Manager, Admin & Safety, Wagh Bakri Tea Group, who shared workplace initiatives adopted by Wagh Bakri Tea Group to curb tobacco use through monitoring, incentives, and motivational displays.

Shri Apoorva Thakershy, Chairman - CSR Committee, GCCI, emphasized the severe consequences of tobacco on both human health and the environment, urging collective responsibility.

The seminar concluded with a formal vote of thanks, reaffirming the shared commitment towards a tobacco-free and healthier society.
